About us

International Service is an international development charity working
in Latin America, West Africa and the Middle East.

We work with some of the world's most vulnerable communities, supporting them in practical ways to combat poverty and oppression.

Human rights are at the heart of what we do. We believe that being denied basic rights is what keeps people in poverty.

Our goal is to help people understand and exercise their rights so they can change or guide their lives for the better.

Whilst we work with the most disadvantaged groups, we know from experience that disabled people, women and children are most in need of support and solidarity.

is to combat poverty and oppression by:

• Sharing skills to help develop the capacities of organisations who work with the poorest groups in our countries of operation
